Welcome to my little webpage! My name is Audra (Brewer) Craft and I am the owner, founder, and sole-employee of Aud's Bakes! I am originally from Southeastern, IN but am currently based in Lafyette, IN with my husband, two cats (Snickers & Fudge), and one dog (Tessa) . When I'm not baking I still spend most of my time working with food as a full-time Food Scientist at a local company.

While Aud's Bakes began (somewhat) officially in 2017, I've been baking my whole life. I used to help my mom bake in the kitchen before I started to pursue learning to bake myself during middle school. If you knew me back then you might remember homemade chocolate-covered waffles and "D.I.-abetes" cookies (full-size oreos shoved into a wad of cookie dough and baked just until you can feel your arteries clog from the smell). During high school, I started following different cake and cookie blogs and realized, "hey! I can do this too!" There have been many, many, MANY failures over the years (I'm talking 3 am breakdowns in front of the fridge covered in powdered sugar for an order due in the morning), but all have helped me grow to become the baker and sugar artist that I am today!

I like to endorse that I make so much more than just cookies and cakes, I bake 1-year-old birthday smiles and cherished family photos. I'm your child's last high school dance memento, your parents' 50th-anniversary gift, and the cake that is so lovingly smeared across your partner's face at your wedding. I take so much joy in being a part of these special days and I would love to be a part of yours too!
